Montreal Shorts
International Film Festival that was created to promote short films.
Our team believe in the power of short stories.
About
Unlike feature films, in short films creation you have a limited amount of time to engage the audience and fully develop the characters and their stories.
Our final goal is to create a series in the style of 'Love, Death and Robots' and 'Black Mirror' for further collaboration with Netflix.
Each series will have a unique non-repeatable plot.
We are looking for the following types of work
Experimental Short
Animation Short
Drama Short
Thriller Short
Horror Short
Comedy Short
Documentary Short
Sci-Fi Short
Non-Dialogue Short

Every 3 months the best short films of these types will be selected and they will be screened in November 2024 in Montreal for 4 days at the annual event. On the fifth day, the winners will be announced and will be included in a compilation of films for the series. On the sixth day, on meeting of winners and organizers will be discussed and approved strategy for further development of the series
